About the Role
Summit Homes Group is seeking an experienced Sub‑Floor Construction Supervisor to join our New Homes Construction team. You will play a key role overseeing sub‑floor works across multiple residential sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will work closely with a team of experienced Supervisors and skilled tradespeople to coordinate all aspects of sub‑floor construction, including footings, slabs, framing interfaces, and associated works. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include supervising site teams, managing subcontractors, monitoring progress and safety compliance, resolving on‑site issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands‑on, high‑responsibility role where your proactive approach, clear communication, and commitment to safety and quality will directly impact the success of our projects.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience supervising construction teams and subcontractors, ideally in sub‑floor construction.
- Strong knowledge of sub‑floor construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Sound understanding of WHS legislation and the ability to maintain safe work practices on‑site.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with Construction Managers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and attention to detail.
- A commitment to high‑quality workmanship and mentoring your team by leading by example.

This role will be based on our residential construction sites within your designated area, with ongoing support and coordination provided by our Summit Homes Group head office in Myaree.
