Job Description
As a Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents living in our aged care facility. Your support enables residents to retain independence and maximise their quality of life in a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- You’ll provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life.
- Providing daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and with general mobility.
- Assisting with medication and easy wound dressings.
- Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing), or equivalent qualification.
- Medication competency (Desirable not mandatory)
- Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care. (Highly Desirable, not mandatory)
- Nursing students welcome to apply; flexible availability can be discussed.
- Be adaptable, empathetic, and resourceful, and you will be able to live Uniting's everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
- Provide a culturally safe and inclusive work environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing shifts if required.
- A genuine passion for elderly care, empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Morning, Afternoon & Night Shift Available
