Location: Lyell House, West Coast District Hospital – Queenstown, Tasmania

The Role

Clinical Nurse Consultant - Community Health Nursing West Coast (CNC - CHNWC) is the clinical lead of the area and works collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health clinicians in the communities of Queenstown, Strahan, Zeehan and Rosebery (based in Rosebery, travel in the region required).

Responsibilities

- Lead and promote the efficient and effective provision of community-based care based on best practice clinical and organisational principles, specifically in alignment with the Primary and Community Health Care Standards, National Primary Health Care Standards, and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Maintain a collaborative partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including relevant NDIS and MAC providers.
- Coordinate team discussions and staff allocations to ensure appropriate and efficient care of patients.
- Support and promote an setting that fosters staff education and learning, quality improvement and compliance requirements of the service.

Details of appointment

- Permanent full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us.
- Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

AUD $118,297 to $125,543 per annum.



Employer superannuation contribution 12% on top.

Salary range in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

Salary Packaging & Regional Allowances

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
- Remote Professional Development Allowance of $4,062 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%.

Eligibility

- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Desirable: Holds or is working towards appropriate postgraduate qualifications.
