We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, build, manage, and optimize enterprise‑grade databases supporting critical business and government systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain relational and non‑relational databases
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching
- Monitor database performance and carry out tuning and optimization
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with governance standards
- Support production environments and troubleshoot complex issues
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams
- Automate routine database operations and maintenance tasks
- Participate in system design reviews and capacity planning





Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases
- Solid knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Experience with backup and recovery tools (e.g., RMAN, native cloud tools)
- Familiarity with high availability / disaster recovery solutions
- Robust Linux/Unix operating system knowledge
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments
- Understanding of database security principles and access management
- 3–8+ years of relevant database engineering or DBA experience (depending on level)
