Overview

Permanent part-time position (twice a week shift: Monday–Thursday). Great central location with excellent benefits, including salary packaging. St Vincent’s Private Melbourne is a facility of St Vincent’s Health Australia under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries. We are a not-for-profit Catholic private hospital operating across four sites: Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee. We are looking for a dynamic Customer Service Officer with exceptional communication and administration skills to join the Cardiovascular Centre at St Vincent's Fitzroy. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure with a strong patient focus.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate communication, patient services and clerical functions as directed by the Cardiovascular Services Manager.
- Greet patients and their families on arrival into hospital.
- Book appointments for SVPHM's inpatient and outpatient services.
- Invoicing and payments for outpatient services.
- Admission / Discharge of patients to the Cardiovascular Centre.

Qualifications and Experience





- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service healthcare environment is desirable.
- Previous experience in patient record databases (IBA preferred).
