We bring to life a Brighter Way in all that we do by seeking better, smarter, more innovative ways of working. We approach our work in a warmer, more optimistic, and inclusive way.

JLL is a global leader in helping clients envision where people will live, work, play, shop, and eat.

What this opportunity involves:

As a Lease Administration Associate at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting our portfolio management operations across the region. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees. In this position, you'll take ownership of critical financial processes including lease event reporting, landlord communications, and reconciliation activities that keep our properties running smoothly. You'll work with a high degree of independence while collaborating with internal teams and external partners both onshore and offshore. This role offers you the chance to develop deep expertise in commercial lease administration and property finance systems while contributing to the accuracy and compliance of our portfolio operations. We embrace more innovative ways of working and prioritize opportunities to strengthen and advance your career, giving you exposure to diverse property management challenges and the tools to solve them effectively.

An overview of the role:

- Generate fixed, CPI and monthly lease event reports for Property Managers and ensure timely delivery

- Oversee inbox management and liaise with landlords and internal contacts to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships
- Review landlord invoices for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and correspond with landlords to resolve billing issues
- Conduct rental and outgoings reconciliations to identify and address discrepancies or arrears across the portfolio
- Efficiently manage recurring ad-hoc leasing payments and ensure all financial obligations are met on schedule
- Maintain up-to-date vendor and landlord details, ensuring data integrity across regional systems and conducting periodic data audits
- Prepare and distribute ad-hoc reports as required, demonstrating proficiency in Rent Roll data and reporting
- Support team activities related to budgeting data forecasts and deliver monthly reports according to the agreed reporting schedule
- Manage various trackers for data governance and compliance while executing efficient document management practices across the portfolio

Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:

- University degree in Real Estate, Commerce, Finance or Property Law OR at least 2-4 years of relevant lease administration or property finance experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts and Rent Roll reporting, preferably real estate leases
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation processes between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

- Experience using property management or lease administration systems and advanced Microsoft Excel reporting capabilities
- Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in financial data management and reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Robust organizational and interpersonal skills with a positive approach to meeting internal stakeholder needs
- Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Previous experience in a Lease Administration or Finance role within the commercial real estate industry is highly valued

Benefits:

- Great employee discounts off fitness, wellbeing & other renowned brands
- 18 weeks paid maternity leave
- Private Health Insurance Discounts
- Active Social Club
- Employee assistant program
- Novated Lease for EV cars
- Paid time off for volunteer work
- Career Opportunities with Australia's #1 Commercial Real Estate firm
- Premium offices
