We’re looking for a technically minded and commercially savvy Product Developer who enjoys working end-to-end across product development and thrives in a quick-paced retail environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of electrical product ranges in line with category strategy, ensuring products meet quality and margin.

You will work closely with Buyers and suppliers to take products from concept through to launch, balancing innovation, cost, and speed-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop electrical products end-to-end, from initial concept through to final delivery
- Manage costings, quotes, and product specifications to achieve target margins
- Coordinate sample development, including pre-production and approval stages




- Track and manage the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline
- Maintain accurate product data and documentation
- Drive product quality, continuous improvement, and innovation across ranges

About You

- Experience in product development, ideally within homewares (not essential)
- High attention to detail with a passion for product quality
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, and timelines
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projectsRetail or consumer goods experience is highly regarded
