The Role
We have multiple part time Security Guard positions available in Townsville.
In this role you will be working at one of our client’s sites, being a key player in creating a safe and welcoming environment, through proactive patrolling, engaging professionally with residents and visitors, and responding appropriately to incidents.
This role is ideal for a security professional who is patient, respectful and committed to creating a safe environment for members of the community. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols of the site
- Monitor and report security incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations following site procedures
- Provide professional customer service to residents, visitors, and contractors
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Monitor access to the premises and report unauthorized activity
Requirements of the position
- Current QLD security providers licence
- Possess a command of the English language both verbal and written
- Available to work permanent night shifts
- Professional presentation
- Reliable and punctual
- Capable of remaining calm under pressure
