- 2/1 or 2/2 roster with rotating shifts
- Conducting drilling operations over a 12‑hour shift
- Leading drill crews, including training of Driller Assistants
- Daily pre‑start equipment checks
- General maintenance
- Setting up drill pads and coordinating rig moves
- Completion of safety documentation and compliance with safe work practices
Qualifications
- Self‑motivated with a robust commitment to Health & Safety
- Previous underground drilling experience essential
- Directional drilling experience preferred
- Deep hole experience preferred
- Experience working with an LM or MDR rig is essential
- Current Driver’s C Licence
- National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- First Aid and CPR certificate (desirable)
- Certificate III in Drilling desirable, but not essential
- Physical ability to lift 30 kg repetitively in a labour‑intensive role
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Demonstrated personal commitment to safety
