An established leader in engineering, manufacturing and maintenance services, stands at a pivotal moment of expansion. Delivering integrated steel fabrication and machining disciplines, the business is seeking to take advantage of its differentiated capabilities and track record of delivery. Western Australian heavy industry is evolving, creating a demand for a more strategic approach to business development and sustained growth. To support this, they are seeking a strategic Group Business Development Manager to enhance their growth trajectory.
Based south of the river, you'll form part of the executive leadership team, directly reporting to the Managing Director. This is a newly created role where strategic vision meets operational excellence, mandated with identifying and capturing opportunities that will define the organisation's next chapter. The role will bridge the gap between best in class manufacturing capabilities and untapped market potential, translating technical capability into sustainable commercial success.
The successful candidate will bring a sophisticated understanding of B2B relationship development within industrial sectors. A track record in navigating complex negotiations with leading mining companies and infrastructure developers and the ability to translate engineering capabilities into compelling value propositions are key to success. Your approach will be relationship orientated, building partnerships that extend beyond transactions to create lasting strategic alliances.




This opportunity provides a platform to influence the strategic direction of an organisation poised for significant growth. You'll have the autonomy to pursue opportunities aligned with the strategic vision, backed by the resources and reputation of a trusted and reliable service provider. Regular travel to client sites, including remote mining operations, will be required.
