Key Responsibilities

- Working closely with our Network Engineering & Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure fast, smooth rollout of established designs and products.
- Managing work priorities through ticketing system and workflows & collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
- Troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, including troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interaction.
- Troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
- Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for current equipment.
- Completing customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system and project management workflows.
- Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
- Reasonable additional hours required as part of the project delivery requirements.

A day in the life

A normal day involves working inside a data center installing network equipment and cables, managing vendors, and negotiating deadlines with program managers. You will be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.

Basic Qualifications

- IT diploma or equivalent in computer hardware, computer science, information systems or related field.




- TCP/IP networking and broad infrastructure knowledge with hands on experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
- Experience troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues, troubleshooting of network device configuration and low-level application interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of IT best practice framework, project management methodologies and ticketing systems.
