We're seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join our headspace Port Lincoln team and help young people aged 12–25 navigate life's challenges, build resilience, and connect with the support they need to thrive.
This is a Fixed Term, Part-Time opportunity (0.8 FTE) . Tuesday and Friday are mandatory working days , with the remaining hours able to be worked across other agreed days.

Working within headspace Port Lincoln, you will provide early intervention mental health support to young people experiencing a range of mental health, wellbeing, AOD and life challenges.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting mental health and risk assessments
- Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Developing strengths-based care plans
- Coordinating referrals and care pathways
- Supporting young people and their families to access appropriate services
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing
- Relevant professional registration (or eligibility)
- Experience undertaking mental health assessments and risk assessments
- Knowledge of youth mental health, trauma-informed practice and recovery-oriented care
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and regional communities
