About the Role

- Lead a team responsible for negotiating the best value, performing strategic analysis and decision‑making to support the project execution plan
- Manage procurement of machinery and equipment for EPCM projects, ensuring compliance with procurement schedules, tenderers lists, package lists and live project data while maintaining strict adherence to procurement procedures
- Support project initiatives by aligning with Engineering, Construction and Cost Control and providing direction in supplier evaluation, selection, and management of purchasing and subcontract agreement negotiations, analytics, and pricing reviews
- Delegate appropriate responsibilities and assignments to team members
- Contribute to ongoing system development and improvement to mature procurement tools

About You

- Tertiary qualified Diploma/Degree in Business or a technical field
- Extensive experience in the management of procurement and contracting activities in an EPC and EPCM environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, including negotiation and relationship‑building
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven experience in the use of Hexagon ERP system – SmartPlant Materials desired
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities




- Experience in the mining and minerals sector will be highly regarded
- Capable of leading negotiations with Supplier/Contractors on finalising the terms and conditions in coordination with Finance, Legal, Tax
