We review, maintain, and remediate critical assets and infrastructure to deliver sovereign capability through world-class asset management, operations and maintenance, supporting the Australian Defence Force’s (ADF) national security. We are seeking a Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Tradesperson to join our team at Amberley RAAF base – South East Queensland.
The Role
Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at RAAF Amberley, supporting surrounding locations in the South East QLD region, with occasional regional travel. You will be part of a core crew of UGL technicians.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
- Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
- Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
- Support subcontracted work packages as required
- Support various sites in Brisbane with occasional travel to sites throughout Queensland
Rates
- Level 1 - $47.07 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)
- Level 2 - $50.67 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)
- Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $54.28 Plus Super & Tool Allowance ($36.43 Weekly)
What you Need
- Trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience
- Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
- Experience within the defence fuels network or defence industry is highly regarded
- Confined space and working at heights tickets are highly regarded
- Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
- Currently hold, or able to obtain, appropriate Defence Security Clearance
