The Role

We are currently on the look-out for a customer focused and driven para-consultant, with a high attention to detail, who has a passion for the healthcare industry and a desire to embark on a career in healthcare recruitment. You will have the drive and enthusiasm to learn all about our areas of nursing recruitment expertise, across Mental Health, Hospitals, Remote Area Nursing and Aged Care, to support our sales team, by providing administrative and customer service support that is second to none. You will be the driving force behind connecting top talent with our healthcare clients.

This exciting “hand on” chance will enable you to build essential relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, candidates, clients, to name but a few!

You will be joining and working alongside our knowledgeable and experienced recruitment professionals, keen to work with you. Your career pathway does not stop there - Verus has a structured career pathway and offer the support, training and coaching to get you up and running quickly.





Responsibilities

- Support our recruiters with departmental administration, candidate generation, compliance, locum management, client management, vacancy management, travel, accommodation and timesheets
- Build a top talent pool of contract nurses across either Mental Health, Remote Area Nursing, Aged Care or Hospitals
- Establish a proactive, professional and long-lasting relationships with all existing and new candidates to ensure the recruitment process is delivered efficiently
- Develop candidate acquisition strategies to maximise attracting the required quantity and quality of candidates through direct sourcing channels, advertising, headhunting, candidate referrals and networking opportunities
- Research and fully immerse yourself into the world of contract nursing recruitment. You will become a knowledge expert in your field!
- Candidate sourcing and talent pooling – advert writing, advert response, interview screening, creating candidate profiles and much more
- Partnership with candidates and clients to understand all their and needs
- Document, develop and maintain administrative recruitment support and a service that is second to none for all your stakeholders

You Are

- Self-motivated and aspire to a life that requires you to drive successful outcomes in the workplace
- The type of person that treats wait-staff the same as you treat your boss




- Knowledgeable and experienced in agency recruitment and have had demonstrated exposure to sourcing candidates
- Detail orientated and take pride in providing a supporting function that is second to none!
- Passionate about the world of healthcare and have a desire to pursue a career in recruitment
- Skilled in motivating your fellow teammates and cultivating a culture of comradery!
- Amazing at building rapport, relationships and reputation
- A proactive person who prides themselves on finding their own solutions
- An outstanding communicator – both verbal and written
- Able to forge relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Authentic, genuine and care about your candidates, clients and colleagues
- Able to work in Australia with no work restrictions, with full working eligibility - Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Defacto
