Join the team that keeps one of regional Victoria’s most important healthcare facilities running safely and reliably. As a Facility Controller you will use your electrical trade skills to maintain critical hospital infrastructure, troubleshoot complex building systems and respond to maintenance requirements across the Bendigo Hospital precinct. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced electrician who enjoys variety, problem‑solving and working with contemporary building services technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to electrical and building services faults
- Maintain critical hospital infrastructure and essential services
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance
- Work with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Coordinate specialist contractors when required
- Ensure assets remain safe, compliant and fully operational
- Support continuous improvement across facilities and maintenance operations
- No two days are the same,
and your work directly supports the delivery of healthcare services to the Bendigo community.
Roster Schedule
This position works a 12‑hour rotating roster, covering days and nights across a four‑week cycle.

Qualifications
- A current Victorian A‑Grade Electrical Licence
- 5+ years post‑trade experience
- Experience in maintenance, industrial, commercial or facilities environments
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- A safety‑first mindset
- Good computer skills and experience using maintenance systems
- The ability to communicate effectively with contractors, hospital staff and colleagues
- Experience in healthcare facilities, BMS systems or contractor management is highly regarded but not essential.
