EC Controls is seeking an experienced BMS Estimator to support the growth of our Brisbane + Sydney operations. Working within a multi‑vendor, open‑protocol setting, this role plays a key part in shaping competitive, technically robust tenders across commercial, education, healthcare, government, and infrastructure projects.

About the Role

You will work closely with engineering, project delivery, service, and business development teams to prepare accurate, commercially aligned BMS estimates that deliver long‑term value to clients. This role suits someone who enjoys technical problem‑solving, interpreting specifications, and building cost‑effective solutions.

Responsibilities

- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to prepare accurate BMS estimates
- Develop detailed bills of materials,



labour allowances, and cost breakdowns
- Validate design assumptions and technical solutions with engineering teams
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing and evaluate options
- Support tender submissions, clarifications, and value‑engineering opportunities
- Collaborate with BDMs and project managers to ensure proposals are competitive and aligned with client needs
- Maintain strong market awareness of BMS platforms, pricing trends, and competitor offerings
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and processes
