We partner with leading retailers and brands across Australia, New Zealand and internationally, working closely with our experienced China-based team to deliver innovative products from concept through to production.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Account Manager to manage customer relationships and coordinate footwear product development from concept through to production.

Working closely with retailers, our Directors and our China-based team, you'll oversee seasonal projects, manage customer expectations and ensure products are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

You'll work closely with our Office & Executive Operations Coordinator to ensure projects run smoothly and provide support to the Sales Manager where required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow relationships with key retail customers
- Coordinate footwear product development from concept through to production
- Liaise daily with our China office regarding product development, sampling and production
- Manage seasonal timelines and critical paths
- Present product ranges and developments to customers
- Monitor production milestones and proactively resolve issues
- Visit customers and retailers as required




- Collaborate with the Office & Executive Coordinator on sample management and customer administration
- Support the Sales Manager during seasonal peaks and customer projects
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and grow existing accounts

About You

To be successful in this role you'll have:

- 3+ years' experience in Account Management, Buying, Merchandising, Product Development or a similar customer-focused role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, positive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
- Footwear or fashion industry experience is highly regarded; however, we're equally interested in candidates from related industries who have the right attitude, strong commercial skills and are quick learners
- Mandarin language skills are advantageous but not essential.
- Australian Drivers licence
