This is a full time role (options for part time), based in the Perth CBD and available for immediate start.

The role is available until June 2028, with a salary range of $100,000 - $103,628 depending on experience, plus 13% superannuation.

Generous conditions are applicable, in accordance with the UnionsWA Enterprise Agreement 2024.

About the Role

The Training Officer is responsible for developing and delivering training curriculums in line with the Workplace Gender Equality Project funded through a federal government grant to address gender inequality in men dominated industries. The role will:

- consult with unions and employers on training delivery
- develop training resources to assist in changing attitudes toward gender equality
- use data and research to inform training sessions
- deliver adult education sessions to workers




- collect data for research before and after training events

Essential

- Proven experience in delivering training
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of adult education principles
- Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft 365,
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to the principles of unionism and gender equality

Desirable

- Experience working with unions
- Cert IV in WHS
- Cert IV in TAE
- Use of online planning tools
