Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse automation assets in line with OEM schedules.
- Conduct inspections, operational checks and cleaning to maximise equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and rectify faults across automation, robotics and electromechanical systems.
- Support automated storage, conveyor systems, AMRs, AGVs and associated control systems.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, system upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with OEM partners and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
- Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with Hastings Deering safety standards.
Qualifications
- Essential Trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or similar.
- Experience in industrial maintenance, automation, manufacturing, warehousing or mining environments.
- Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting capability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and high‑quality workmanship.
- Desirable experience with warehouse automation, robotics, conveyors or PLC‑controlled systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance management systems.
- Forklift licence or other relevant high‑risk licences.
