ABOUT THE POSITION
This is an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a collaborative Building Services team and continue developing your technical expertise within a growing consultancy. You'll gain hands‑on experience across all stages of project delivery while taking on increasing technical responsibility. We're looking for a motivated and proactive engineer with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions. You'll be supported by experienced engineers who are committed to your professional development and long‑term career growth.
DUTIES
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project requirements
- Perform mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and design assessments
- Prepare drawings, specifications, reports and technical documentation
- Coordinate mechanical services and resolve design clashes with other disciplines
- Conduct site inspections to verify existing conditions and identify design constraints
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Proficiency with Revit, Camel and Bluebeam
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of Australian codes and standards
- Strong problem‑solving skills and good attention to detail
