The role
As Design Manager, you’ll take ownership of the design management process across multiple commercial projects, ensuring quality, coordination and buildability remain front of mind.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the design process from early planning through to construction.
- Coordinating architects, consultants, clients and internal project teams.
- Reviewing documentation to ensure quality, coordination and buildability.
- Identifying design risks and resolving issues before they impact construction.
- Supporting project teams throughout delivery with technical advice and design coordination.
- Driving collaboration across all project stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
About you
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager working directly for a commercial construction company .
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies and project delivery.
- Experience managing large-scale commercial projects.
- The ability to build strong relationships with consultants, clients and project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative approach with a focus on achieving the best project outcomes.
