What You’ll Bring

- Previous experience as kitchen hand, steward or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant or café.
- Solid understanding of food safety and OH&S; standards, with the ability to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Ability to support daily kitchen operations efficiently and complete tasks as directed by senior chefs.
- Skilled in minimising waste through careful handling of food and resources.
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork within kitchen and service teams.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and tasks across different areas of the hotel.
- Physically capable of performing manual duties including lifting, standing for extended periods and cleaning.
- Commitment to professional appearance and adherence to workplace policies and grooming standards.
- Willingness to participate in training sessions to develop culinary skills and grow within the team.
