Job Description

About this role: We’re looking for a creative storyteller who can turn ideas into content that our Canberra community actually wants to read, watch and share.

As a Content Officer, you’ll help bring Icon Water’s voice to life, creating content that connects with the community, supports key initiatives and makes complex topics easy to understand. You’ll work across a mix of projects, from digital content and campaigns to internal communications, collaborating with teams across the business.

What you’ll do

- Craft content that is clear, engaging and tailored to different audiences and channels
- Develop visual assets such as graphics, short videos and photography to support storytelling
- Contribute to campaigns by helping shape ideas and producing content that cuts through
- Publish and manage content across digital platforms
- Work closely with internal experts to gather insights and translate them into meaningful messages
- Coordinate your work to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed




- Apply our brand and style guidelines consistently across everything you produce
- Occasionally support after-hours communications and media-related activities.

What you’ll bring

- A talent for writing with clarity, creativity and purpose
- Experience producing visual and written content for digital platforms and online audiences
- Confidence explaining complex or technical topics in simple terms
- An eye for design and an interest in multimedia content (e.g. video, animations or graphics)
- Relevant qualifications or practical experience in communications, marketing or a similar field.
