Overview

Join St Pius OSHC Banyo as a qualified Educator in a permanent part‑time role of 15 hours per week. This position is specifically for OSHC‑experienced educators holding a current qualification in Children’s Services. Located on the grounds of St Pius Catholic Primary School, our service supports families in the Banyo and Nudgee community, providing before school, after school and vacation care for up to 150 children. The facility includes a dedicated OSHC space and access to school amenities such as an oval, hall and undercover areas.

Responsibilities

- Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school, after school, and vacation care.
- Create a secure, secure, and welcoming environment for all.
- Design and lead fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care.
- Feel proud to come to work knowing you are making a real difference in children’s lives every day.

Qualifications

- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, or an ACECQA approved equivalent; a current qualification is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working in an OSHC setting is highly regarded.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Current or up‑to‑date Child Protection training (preferred).




- A passion for the education and care of school‑aged children in a play‑based environment.
- Effective workplace communication skills.
