Fashion E-Commerce Trading Manager with CRM Expertise – Part Time 3-4 days
Sydney / Hybrid or Remote
Our client is a globally recognised fashion brand known for innovative design and contemporary, high-quality product.
With small considered monthly drops and a disciplined creative strategy, the brand prioritises depth, longevity and margin over volume.
As the business enters its next phase of growth, they are focused on scaling a profitable, high-performing Direct-to-Consumer channel.
They are seeking a commercially minded Ecommerce Trading & CRM Manager to lead retention, conversion and online trading performance. This role requires an operator who understands brand equity, customer lifetime value, retention strategy and digital growth levers within a premium fashion environment.
Position Overview
In this role, you will lead the online sales and retention strategy, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey across all digital touchpoints.
You will own CRM, lifecycle marketing and CRO initiatives, manage the ecommerce trading calendar, and brief paid media activity to an external agency.
This position requires a balance of creative judgement, commercial thinking and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and execute ecommerce and retention strategies to improve customer lifetime value
- Own and optimise CRM strategy across segmentation, lifecycle flows, campaigns and loyalty initiatives
- Manage the Shopify ecommerce platform, ensuring strong trading performance and user experience
- Lead CRO initiatives to improve conversion rate,
AOV and on-site engagementOwn the marketing calendar, aligning product drops, campaigns and promotional activity
- Ideate, brief and approve EDM concepts with the graphic designer
- Analyse sales data, customer behaviour and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Brief and collaborate with the external paid media agency, ensuring alignment with product focus and brand objectives
- Manage ecommerce budgets to ensure efficient allocation and return on investment
- Ensure all digital creative assets across website, email and paid channels are on brand, delivered on time and aligned with performance goals
- Leverage campaign, influencer and in-house content effectively across owned and paid channels
- Lead an ecommerce assistant on day to day operations of website maintenance , collection launches , banner changes and website merchandising
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in ecommerce management, ideally within fashion or lifestyle
- Proven expertise in CRM strategy with a demonstrated ability to drive retention and revenue growth
- Solid understanding of ecommerce analytics, trading metrics and customer lifecycle economics
- Experience working with Shopify and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
- Experience briefing or collaborating with paid media agencies
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into clear commercial actions
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise effectively in a part-time capacity
- Creative, commercially astute and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
