Business Development Manager – Infrastructure

Are you someone who knows the construction and infrastructure industry inside out?

Do you already have strong relationships across the Queensland market and enjoy opening doors, building partnerships and winning work?

We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth within one of Australia's leading infrastructure maintenance and remediation businesses.

This isn't a role where you'll inherit a pipeline. You'll be trusted to build one.

Working closely with our operational and tender teams, you'll identify opportunities, develop client relationships and help secure projects across Queensland's infrastructure sector.

About the Role

This is a genuine opportunity to make an impact in a business with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across Australia.

You'll be responsible for:

- Developing and executing a business development strategy across Queensland.
- Building relationships with contractors, government agencies, asset owners, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Identifying projects early and creating a strong opportunity pipeline.
- Leading client engagement from initial conversations through to contract award.
- Working alongside operational teams to develop winning solutions.
- Supporting tender submissions and commercial negotiations.
- Representing the business across industry events and networking opportunities.




- Monitoring market activity and identifying emerging opportunities.

About You

We're looking for someone who already understands how the construction and infrastructure industry operates.

You may currently be working within:

- Building Construction
- Infrastructure Maintenance
- Asset Maintenance
- Remediation
- Utilities
- Mining
- Defence
- Energy

Most importantly, you'll be someone who knows how to build trust, develop long‑term relationships and win work.

You'll ideally have:

- Proven success in a Business Development role within construction or infrastructure.
- A strong network across the Queensland market.
- Commercially minded with experience developing profitable opportunities.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience working alongside operational and project delivery teams.
- The ability to identify opportunities well before they reach the tender stage.
- A proactive, self‑driven approach with a genuine passion for growing a business.
