About The Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). The Cell & Molecular Therapies (CMT) Senior Clinical Trials Manager, working closely with the Head of Department, oversees the overall operations of the CMT Clinical Trials Unit to ensure alignment with the organisation's strategic goals. This role is accountable for managing a dynamic, regulatory-compliant research and clinical service within SLHD, driving the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality research projects within set timeframes. Additionally, the manager promotes the Unit as a leading site for translational research, clinical trials, and standard of care delivery at state, national, and international levels.

Ideal Candidate

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a health, science or related field and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in a clinical research setting.




- Management skills and experience to effectively drive clinical research and build strong working relationships with stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
- Extensive experience managing clinical trials studies and thorough knowledge of clinical trial regulations, legislation and ICH-GCP Guidelines with strong problem solving, analytical and numeracy skills to develop, implement and monitor clinical trial budgets.
- Ability to lead a diverse range of staff in a substantial and complex organisation engaged in clinical research initiatives.
