The Opportunity Join a team-oriented team of experienced Physicians providing comprehensive General Medicine services across a busy regional referral hospital.

You Will

- Deliver high-quality inpatient and consultative General Medicine services
- Manage a broad range of acute and complex medical presentations
- Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds and coordinate patient care
- Supervise, mentor and teach Basic Physician Trainees, Registrars, Resident Medical Officers and medical students
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development initiatives
- Contribute to the consultant on-call roster
- Play an active role in education, research and the ongoing development of General Medicine services

This position offers an excellent balance of clinical practice, teaching, and leadership within a supportive consultant team.

Requirements

To be considered, you must meet one of the following criteria:

- Hold Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or be eligible for registration
- Have at least 12 months of recent Internal or General Medicine experience
- Be enrolled in the RACP Physician Training Program
- International Medical Graduate eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA or New Zealand)
- International Medical Graduate with a confirmed RACP Specialist Pathway interview date
- International Medical Graduate assessed by RACP as Substantially Comparable
