- Apply knowledge of the contentand teaching strategies to develop engaging learningoutcomes
- Apply teaching strategies basedon knowledge of students’ physical,socialandintellectual development and characteristics to improve studentlearning
- Use effective teachingstrategies to integrate ICT into learning and teaching programsto make selected content relevant andmeaningful
- Develop,selectanduse informal and formal, diagnostic, formative and summativeassessment strategies to assess studentlearning




- Participate in learning toupdate knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needsand school priorities
- Model and live the CaulfieldGrammar School values and behaviours

Skills andExperience

- Tertiary qualifications inEducation (postgraduate qualificationsdesirable).
- Current Victorian Institute ofTeaching (VIT)registration.
- First Aid - Level 2and Anaphylaxisqualifications
- Relevant experience as ageneralist classroom teacher with exceptional understanding ofthe principles of teaching and learning in the primaryyears
- Experience with the IB PYPProgram (advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal skills withthe ability to inspire children
- Commitment to evidence-basedpractice and professionaldevelopment
- Excellent time management andorganisational skills
