Profectus is inviting expressions of interest from Cloud Specialists for likely upcoming engagements within the Australian Government. These opportunities suit cloud and infrastructure specialists across a range of experience levels who can operate, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate routine tasks and help resolve operational issues within a team-oriented delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out agreed operational procedures, including infrastructure configuration, installation and maintenance
- Use infrastructure management tools to collect and report on load and performance statistics
- Automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure
- Contribute to maintenance and installation work
- Perform system backups and restore data where necessary using standard procedures and tools
- Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution

Required Experience

- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining cloud or infrastructure environments, primarily AWS
- Familiarity with infrastructure management and automation toolingUnderstanding of operational procedures,



system backups and problem resolution
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to follow defined procedures
- Australian Government experience will be well regarded
- Experience across cloud (AWS or Azure) and virtualised environments
- Infrastructure-as-code and automation experience
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS or Azure)

Security Clearance Requirements

- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold a Baseline security clearance (minimum)

Working Arrangements

- Hybrid; predominantly onsite with periodic work from home where appropriate
- Canberra preferred
- Candidates based in VIC, NSW, SA or QLD may also be considered
