Employment Details

Employment Status: Permanent Part Time

Availability - Mon- Fri, 8am - 5pm (Min 30hrs per week)

Location: Mackay & Surrounding Areas

Remuneration: $32.69 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts

About the Role

As a Personal Carer Trainee, you’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

- Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
- In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
- Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
- Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
- Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments

Role Requirements

- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum)
- Essential Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work
- Essential Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
- Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
