About the role

We are seeking to appoint a Ministry Coordinator to develop and sustain ministry opportunities in Darwin and the surrounding areas.



As a Ministry Coordinator, you will engage with children’s and youth ministers/pastors, churches and local Christian communities to connect them with SU Australia programs. In this role, your objective will be to grow SU Australia and local church ministry and mission in Darwin and its surrounding communities.

This is a full‑time position, based in Darwin, that will require some out‑of‑work hours and travel. While this position is advertised as a full‑time role, we welcome applications from those seeking part‑time arrangements; please clearly outline your preferred availability within your cover letter.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- Experience working within a Christian setting or other not‑for‑profit organisation;
- Qualifications or extensive experience in Christian ministry or a related field;
- Experience in designing and delivering camps and holiday programs for children and youth;
- Demonstrated success in initiating and maintaining stakeholder relationships; and
- Experience working with First Nations people and remote communities (highly regarded).
