The Opportunity

Our client is a medium-sized, fast-growing business operating in the bulk lubricant and chemicals industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly organised Customer Service and Supply Chain Support team member to join their Footscray office.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this is a varied role supporting administration, order processing, supplier and customer liaison, road freight coordination, reporting, planning and broader team activities. It would suit a recent graduate or early-career professional who enjoys detail, coordination, variety and learning how a busy operational business works.

What you will be doing

- Processing orders, entering data accurately and liaising with suppliers and customers.
- Coordinating and organising road freight requirements.
- Preparing, reviewing and analysing month-end data, as well as daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Assisting with planning, forecasting and day-to-day operational coordination.
- Completing general administration and office support duties.
- Supporting the wider team where required, with the opportunity to learn new skills across the business.

Qualifications:

About you

As the successful candidate, you will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, logistics, project management or a similar discipline, ideally suited to a current or recent graduate.
- Strong planning and coordination skills.
- Good Excel capability, sound numeracy skills and confidence working with data.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexibility, adaptability and a positive approach to seeing every task as an opportunity to learn and grow.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
