The City is seeking an experienced Horticultural Team Leader toprovide hands‑on leadership and technical expertise across parks,streetscapes and foreshore reserves.

In this role, you will lead horticultural field teams andcontractors to ensure high‑quality maintenance and constructionoutcomes, while promoting safe work practices and excellentcustomer service.

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

- Diploma in Horticulture or Certificate IV of Horticulturewith substantial relevant experience
- Current “MR” class driver’s licence and ConstructionInduction Training (White Card)
- Extensive horticultural knowledge including plant, weed,pest and disease identification




- Strong experience in supervision of staff andcontractors
- Sound written and interpersonal skills, particularly verbalcommunication and public relations
- Intermediate level of computer literacy skills
- Sound knowledge of safety and health legislation,regulations, policies and practices
- Knowledge of municipal or commercial parks and gardensmaintenance practices
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a teamenvironment or able to work alone under direction

This position offers a weekly wage of $1,559 (gross) whichincorporates all allowances and penalty rates, as well as:

- 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to afurther 5%
