We're looking for an experienced sales leader to step into a pivotal senior role on our Senior Leadership Team, driving strategy, growth and transformation across GoTransit's Direct Sales division, the foundation of the business's revenue performance. This is a genuine opportunity to shape the future of our SME direct client relationships, lead a talented team of Sales Directors and play a defining role in the next stage of GoTransit's growth.

The Chance

The Group Sales Director – Direct leads and expands GoTransit's national Direct client portfolio, accelerating revenue performance and strengthening our position across the SME business landscape.

Reporting into the Director of Sales and ideally based at HQ on the Sunshine Coast working closely with marketing and strategy, you'll set the strategic direction for the Direct Sales team, build senior-level relationships with CMO decision-makers and champion audience-led, insight-driven selling powered by MOVE. This is a role for someone who wants to lead from the front coaching a team to excellence, owning the numbers and building a profile as a genuine strategic voice in the Transit Out Of Home community.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and align the Direct Team Sales Directors around shared strategic goals and business objectives




- Develop long-term growth strategies that deepen relationships with CMO-level decision-makers
- Partner with Strategy to unlock proactive new revenue and existing client growth opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing on lead generation, conversion and re-engagement strategies
- Deliver strong revenue growth and improved retention across the established Direct client base
- Build and enhance senior relationships across Australia's SME direct client landscape
- Lead, coach and inspire the Direct Sales Team to achieve excellence in performance and professional growth
- Drive capability development across the team, including MOVE education and presentation excellence
- Represent GoTransit across the Australian CMO community, building both personal and business profile

About You

You're a commercially astute sales leader who knows how to build a team, grow a portfolio and turn senior relationships into long-term revenue. You lead by example strategic, data-driven and hands-on with your people and your clients.

Ideally, you'll have:

- 7+ years' experience in media or advertising sales leadership, ideally within the Out-of-Home sector
- Proven success leading teams, driving revenue growth and developing new business
- Established senior-level relationships within the direct client landscape
- Strong commercial acumen with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- A consultative, strategic and solutions-oriented approach to relationship building
- Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills, underpinned by a data-driven mindset
- Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
