Your New Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements while working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology partners. You will support the delivery of strategic initiatives by translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements and ensuring solutions align with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Documenting business processes, user journeys, business rules and functional requirements.
- Facilitating the translation of business requirements into user stories, features and backlog items.
- Conducting current and future state process analysis.
- Identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities for process improvement.
- Supporting solution design, testing, change management and implementation activities.




- Collaborating with project managers, delivery teams and subject matter experts to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Maintaining robust stakeholder relationships across business and technology teams.
- Supporting governance, reporting and project documentation requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst within complex project or transformation environments.
- Strong business process mapping and requirements elicitation skills.
- Proven experience working across end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects within Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and related delivery tools.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
- Be based in Newcastle or a surrounding area.
