Arrow Car Sales is a Adelaide Hills-based dealership specialising in prestige and European vehicles. We pride ourselves on offering a premium buying experience backed by genuine in-house capability — our reconditioning operation spans mechanical, paint and panel, and detailing, giving us full control over the quality of every vehicle we sell. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the business' day-to-day operation and help shape its next chapter.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll take ownership of the dealership's overall performance — sales, operations, and profitability — while leading a diverse team across the front and back end of the business. You'll report directly to the owner and act as the driving force behind daily execution, team culture, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all dealership operations, including sales, reconditioning (mechanical, paint & panel, detailing), and finance & insurance
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team including sales staff, workshop technicians, the workshop manager, and the finance/business manager
- Drive revenue, manage costs, and improve margins across vehicle sales and F&I;
- Set and monitor targets for stock turn, reconditioning turnaround, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with relevant automotive, consumer, and finance regulations




- Develop and refine processes across departments to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
- Dealing with issues when and if they arise from stock, clients and staff
- Report on business performance and provide strategic input to ownership

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience in a dealership management role (General Manager, Sales Manager, or similar), ideally with exposure to prestige or European brands
- A track record of leading and developing teams across multiple departments
- Solid understanding of dealership operations, including reconditioning workflows and F&I;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage both staff and customers effectively
- A hands‑on, high‑accountability approach — someone who leads from the front
