Your new role
- Lead procurement activities for major civil and electrical infrastructure packages from tender stage through to contract award.
- Partner with bid and project teams to develop commercially competitive and deliverable project solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, transport, legal and contract management stakeholders to ensure alignment across project work streams.
- Develop sourcing strategies, project budgets, cost models and commercial evaluations.
- Assess supplier submissions across commercial, technical and contractual criteria.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract finalisation and ongoing commercial management activities.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure capability, capacity and value delivery.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Extensive experience in procurement,
commercial management or project management within construction, infrastructure, energy or related industries.
- Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects and managing high-value contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate technical, commercial and legal aspects of complex supplier proposals.
- Experience with tendering processes and project delivery environments.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams including engineering, legal, construction and contract management.
