The Payroll Agency | Payroll Specialist Recruiter - (phone hidden)

The Payroll Agency is partnering with a reputable organisation looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll process and play a key role in managing workers compensation and related compliance.

/n

In this role, you'll be the go-to for all things payroll — from processing and reconciliations through to reporting, queries, and audits. You'll also oversee workers compensation claims, return-to-work coordination, and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legislation.

/n

Key Responsibilities:

/n

/n

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse employee base

/n

- Prepare and lodge superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax

/n

- Handle workers compensation claims and liaise with insurers

/n

- Support return-to-work processes and maintain compliance documentation

/n

- Provide timely, qualified support to employees and stakeholders

/n

- Assist with audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

/n/n

About You:

/n

/n

- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (ideally mid–large workforce)

/n





- Sound understanding of workers compensation processes and legislation

/n

- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

/n

- A proactive, approachable team player who enjoys accountability

/n/n

- Wollongong based however, only required to be in office 1 x a week and very flexible
