- Embedded C / Firmware Design / Industrial Products = gain exposure to power electronics / motor control, switchgear, VFD's etc

- Design and follow-through the product development phases

- Work on the big stuff and see it ship

This is a strong opportunity for an Embedded Firmware Engineer who can design firmware, not just write assigned code.

/n

We are keen on:

- Where you've worked

/n

- What you have worked on

- What you personally designed, built, tested, debugged and released.

/n/n

We are looking for things like:

/n

/n

- Firmware design and development for commercial electronic products.

/n

- Firmware architecture, control logic, diagnostics, fault handling and event logging.

/n

- Low-level drivers, state machines, scheduling and timing-critical routines.

/n

- Hardware/firmware integration with microcontrollers, peripherals, sensors and electronic assemblies.

/n

- Board bring-up, debugging, validation, production support and field issue investigation.

/n

- Reusable firmware modules and shared platform capability across product families.

/n

- Transparent documentation of design decisions, interfaces,



constraints and test outcomes.

/n

- Working closely with hardware, power electronics, lifecycle, quality and production teams.

/n/n

What matters:

/n

/n

- You can explain your firmware design activities, not only your development tasks.

/n

- You have worked close to hardware.

/n

- You can describe products or systems you have supported through test, release or production.

/n

- You understand how firmware behaviour affects the real product.

/n

- You can talk clearly about trade-offs, bugs, constraints, fixes and design decisions.

/n/n

Relevant backgrounds may include industrial controllers, motor drives, HVAC/R controls, pump/fan/compressor controls, power conversion, UPS, EV charging, protection products, instrumentation, production-test systems or other embedded hardware products.

/n

Those backgrounds are useful, not mandatory.

/n
