Commercial Litigation Solicitor

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience to join our team.

Working closely with the Directors and our experienced legal team, you will have carriage of your own matters while collaborating with colleagues across the firm's practice areas. About the role

You will manage a diverse range of litigation and commercial advisory matters, including:

- General commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
- Contractual and commercial disputes.
- Debt recovery matters.
- Building and construction disputes.
- Property and leasing disputes.
- Business and shareholder disputes.
- Insolvency and bankruptcy matters.

As part of your role, you will be expected to:

- Conduct negotiations and alternative dispute resolution practices.
- Draft pleadings, affidavits, court documents, correspondence and submissions.
- Prepare matters for interlocutory hearings, mediations and final hearings.
- Brief and instructing counsel.
- Provide commercially practical advice to individuals and businesses.
- Draft and review various commercial agreements.




- Manage client relationships from commencement through to resolution.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience as a solicitor and hold a current NSW practising certificate.
- Demonstrated experience managing litigation matters with minimal supervision.
- Strong experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
- Commercial law and business advisory experience (highly regarded).
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A genuine commitment to providing practical, commercially focused legal solutions.
