Wharf One Food & Wine, located in the stunning Darwin Waterfront, is offering an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals. Your responsibilities encompass ensuring efficient restaurant operation, maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. We are seeking an individual with robust management skills and front-of-house experience capable of overseeing the venue, engaging with customers, and efficiently managing seating capacity. Leading by example, you will uplift our staff during busy moments in our rapid-paced environment, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
- Recognized university degree in Restaurant Management or Tourism and Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of three (3)
years of relevant management experience in branded a la carte restaurants.
- Demonstrated experience in training, development, leading, and guiding staff.
- Ability to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommending appropriate solutions to operational issues.
- Availability to work shifts over a 7-day roster consisting of lunch and dinner shifts.
Wages:
Based on Restaurant Industry Award 2026 Standards.
- Full-Time: Salary based on a minimum of 38 hours per week. Holiday and personal leave accrued pro-rata, with salary determined by the level of experience.
