About the Project

McConnell Dowell, in joint venture with Gamuda Australia, is delivering Sydney Water's Ryde to Pymble Pipeline Upgrade Project .

The project involves the design and construction of more than 10km of DN900 watermain between Ryde Pump Station and Wahroonga Reservoir using a combination of open trenching and trenchless construction methods. Once complete, the pipeline will strengthen Sydney's water network and improve water security for more than 1.6 million people across Sydney.

About the Role

As HSE Administrator, you will provide administrative and compliance support to the project's Health, Safety & Environment team, helping keep the project running safely and efficiently. Working in a fast-paced construction workplace, you will manage key HSE systems and documentation, support contractor onboarding and ensure personnel are site-ready.

Working closely with the HSE Manager and Advisors, you will play an important role in maintaining workforce compliance, coordinating inductions and supporting the day-to-day administration of project HSE activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in HSE, with genuine progression into HSE Coordinator or Advisor roles.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage HSE administration, records and project documentation.
- Maintain HammerTech, including contractor onboarding and compliance.
- Coordinate site inductions and support mobilisation activities.
- Prepare HSE reports, statistics and project documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the HSE team across daily project activities.

What will you bring?

- Previous administration experience,



ideally within construction or a project environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems such as HammerTech.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- White Card and HSE qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
