Senior Contract Administrator - Builder / Developer - Up to $230,000 + Super

I'm working on behalf of a highly successful Queensland-owned builder/developer that has established itself as one of the state's leading privately owned construction businesses.

Turning over $150M+ annually , the business has built an enviable reputation delivering high-quality commercial and multi-residential developments, with the added security of developing many of its own projects.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team on a $35 million project.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the commercial management of the project from procurement through to final accounts, working closely with an experienced Project Manager and site team to ensure a successful commercial outcome.

This is a genuine opportunity to join a builder/developer with a long-term pipeline of work, strong financial backing and a reputation for promoting from within.

Responsibilities

- Manage the commercial administration of the project from procurement through to final accounts
- Let and administer subcontract packages
- Prepare and maintain cost reports,



forecasts and project budgets
- Assess subcontractor claims, progress claims and variations
- Negotiate commercial outcomes with subcontractors and suppliers
- Work closely with the delivery team to achieve programme and financial objectives
- Build strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders

About You

- Proven experience as a CA / Senior CA with a commercial builder
- Robust commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience delivering projects valued $20M-$50M+
- Able to operate autonomously and drive commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Stable employment history with reputable contractors
