We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist-IT to provide commercial guidance across IT sourcing and service provider management. Working closely with IT stakeholders, you will play an important role in strategic sourcing of qualified services, software tooling and lead SaaS renewals.

You will drive value, reduce risk, and ensure supplier performance aligns with organisational and technology objectives.

In this role, you will support critical technology services by ensuring IT supplier spend delivers maximum value, performance, and security. You will help enable a stable and effective IT environment whilst balancing commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver end-to-end procurement, including contract renewals, RFx activities, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal pricing, SLAs, and contractual outcomes
- Manage IT supplier performance and governance, including reviews, renewals, and dispute resolution
- Partner with IT, Legal, Risk and Finance, stakeholders to align sourcing with strategy and contract requirements.
- Support contract management and compliance, ensuring adherence to procurement and risk frameworks
- Operate effectively within a highly regulated environment ensuring compliance with APRA prudential standards and requirements are met and are contractually in place with the IT supplier base, appropriately addressing risk,



compliance and regulatory obligations including APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234 requirements.

About you

You are a commercially astute procurement professional with IT expertise and the ability to navigate complex supplier environments and regulatory requirements.

You will have a track record leading sourcing initiatives across SaaS and managed services.

You know your way around a contract, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS terms, IP, data protection, service credits and exit provisions are all familiar territory.

Experience in a regulated environment is important, and a financial services background is a genuine advantage.

You're commercially sharp, you can model TCO, benchmark pricing and turn spend data into clear recommendations. You're also comfortable presenting those to senior stakeholders.
