Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

- Managing a varied caseload with appropriate supervision and support
- Advising clients across one or more of the firm’s practice areas
- Drafting correspondence, contracts, pleadings, affidavits, court documents and legal advice
- Conducting legal research and preparing clear, practical recommendations
- Appearing in courts and tribunals, where appropriate
- Briefing and working with counsel and other skilled advisers
- Communicating with clients,



opposing solicitors and relevant authorities
- Managing deadlines, file administration and billing requirements
- Assisting with business development and the growth of the firm
- Delivering professional, responsive and commercially sensible client service

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:

- Admission as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW
- A current NSW practising certificate, or eligibility to obtain one
- Post-admission experience in a law firm or legal practice
- Experience in one or more of commercial law, litigation, property, family law, employment law or wills and estates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound legal research, drafting and analytical abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
- The confidence to communicate directly with clients and manage matters
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to legal work
- A high level of professionalism, integrity and discretion
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
