Jane Surry Hills is looking for a supervisor / senior waiter to join our team!

Jane is a neighbourhood bar and restaurant in Surry Hills serving only Australian ingredients, we push the boundaries and showcase how amazing what we have right on our door-step really is.

With a small team we all work together to elevate the guests' experience, and have time for some fun during service too.

We have a strong focus on guest experience and providing a positive setting to let our staff thrive.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a supervisor to join the team, this is a casual role offering 25-35 hours per week.

The responsibilities of the position include:

- support our managers and assist in leading and developing a strong and well-established FOH team
- Assisting the managers with opening and closing the restaurants
- Maintain an exceptional level of service.
- Have a confident level of knowledge in wines/spirits/cocktails and contribute and elevate the development of our beverage offering
- Assist in managing the day‑to‑day operations,



ensuring that the level of customer service is consistently in line with our standards.
- Provide feedback to the managers regarding rostering requirements, staff issues, customer feedback

REQUIREMENTS

- Prior experience within restaurants/bars - the ideal candidate would have experience as an established waiter, however we would also provide training for someone who has an interest in learning
- Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop staff
- Sound level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
