We are seeking an experienced WHS Senior Training Advisor to join a site-based resources operation in Western Australia.

This role is focused on developing and delivering high-quality WHS training across operational and processing environments. Working closely with site leaders, employees and contractors, you will support workforce training and competency, maintain training systems and records, and contribute to the continual improvement and standardisation of WHS training processes.

The position will work across multiple operational locations and requires flexibility to travel between sites and support operational requirements, including planned high-risk activities and shutdowns.

Key Responsibilities
/n

- Develop and deliver WHS training programs aligned with legislative and operational requirements.
/n
- Deliver Permit to Work and Isolation training, including theory, mentoring and competency assessments.
/n
- Support the Verification of Competency (VOC) process across key operational areas.
/n
- Develop, review and update training packages, procedures and supporting materials.
/n
- Maintain accurate training records and competency data to support compliance and site reporting.
/n
- Support the development, implementation and standardisation of WHS processes.
/n
- Coordinate and facilitate externally delivered WHS training.
/n
- Work with operational teams to identify training and competency requirements.
/n
- Ensure training materials remain aligned with current legislation and operational requirements.
/n
- Support training requirements during shutdowns and other planned high-risk activities.

Key Requirements
/n
/n
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment – essential.
/n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a processing or operational environment.
/n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a training role within a chemical or processing facility.
/n
- Demonstrated experience delivering Permit to Work and Isolation training.
/n
- Experience conducting VOCs and competency assessments.
/n
- Experience developing training packages and training systems.
/n
- Experience using training and/or Learning Management Systems (LMS).
/n
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and operational safety requirements.
/n
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.
/n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
/n
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety – desirable.
/n
- Experience with STEMS or similar training management systems – desirable.
/n
- Machinery operating competency – desirable.
/n/n
