An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Services Accountant to join a well-established Chartered Accounting firm in Norwest. This respected practice combines the technical expertise of a larger firm with the personalised service of a boutique adviser, delivering high-quality tax and business advisory services to a diverse client base.

Working with experienced Managers and Partners, you will gain exposure to a broad range of clients including SMEs, private and public companies, family-owned businesses, high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profit organisations. With a strong emphasis on mentoring, training and career development, this is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to accelerate their professional growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals
- Preparing BAS, IAS, FBT returns,



GST reconciliations and payroll tax calculations
- Assisting with tax planning, tax research and drafting client advice letters
- Providing advice across key tax areas including Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax, Payroll Tax and Small Business CGT Concessions
- Responding to client queries
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies

About you:

- Minimum 5 years' Business Services/Tax experience within an Australian public practice firm
- CA/CPA qualified or studying
- Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
